Jamia Hamdard 2024 Applications Open

Jamia Hamdard, a Deemed-to-be-University, is accepting applications for 2024 admissions in all its UG (and other) courses. While the University is based at Delhi, it also runs a centre in Kannur (Kerala) where select courses are offered.

There are 2 admission channels (depending on the course).

1. Based on marks in qualifying examination.

2. Based on national level entrance tests JEE-Mains, NEET-UG, CLAT, CUET-UG.

Admission schedule

a) Application last date: 30 May 2024

b) Applications open for editing: First week of June or declaration of 10+2 / NEET / CUET / JEE / other National Level Tests whichever is later.

c) Declaration of Selection/waiting-cum-document verification list: Within two week time of closure of Data editing option.

d) Declaration of Final Selection lists and Sharing of Payment link with the candidates: Within three working days, after completion of document verification process.

Jamia Hamdard: Jamia Hamdard (JH) was declared as a deemed-to-be University by the Govt. of India in 1989. Spread over a sprawling green campus of about 100 acres, located on a prime piece of land in South Delhi, JH has ten Schools including a medical college, two hospitals - a 550 bedded modem medicine hospital and another 150 bedded Unani medicine hospital - on its campus.

Courses in which admission is based on CLAT : Non-CLAT applicants may be considered only if suitable number of CLAT-2024 candidates is not available, or there is delay in CLAT result. If situation arises, Non-CLAT applicants will be selected on the basis of merit in the first five subjects in the qualifying examination.

Courses in which admission is based on NEET / JEE Mains Paper 1 : In case of delay in conduct of JEE-2024 the University may offer admission on the basis of merit of aggregate percentage of first 5 subjects of the qualifying examination.

In courses (except MBBS) where admission is based on NEET, the University may offer admission on the basis of merit of aggregate percentage of first 5 subjects of the qualifying examination.

Reservation : The following reservation policy of JH will be applicable to all admissions other than the admissions in MBBS/MD/MS offered by HIMSR:

- 50 % of total seats in all programs will be reserved for Indian Muslims.

- 50 % of total seats in all programs will be filled up by open merit.
